How has the data been collected?

I have collected all passport records for persons living in Parkano in the Institute of Migration databases. I have then connected these to Institute of Migration Passenger records, made searches in www.ancestry.com databasess for US records and looked up the persons in Parkano church books.

Some persons have been located from the church books which have recorded the person to have emigrated and some directly from US sources recording the birth place or last residence of an immigrant as Parkano.

I have copied the information in the sources as is. Some data in the sources is incomplete or even incorrect. I recommend you check everything from original sources.

There is additional information for most persons in my files, especially those whose parents are recorded here. For many persons I have ancestors listed for several generations. Feel free to contact me! Please, remember that I am not at liberty of releasing information of living persons to a third party.

I have removed death dates and exact places of persons who died within the last 50 years. If this is your relative and you want the exact date to be included, let me know!

Recently I have started adding family pages for a few families that are either related to me or some of my friends or otherwise interesting, f.ex. several persons from the same family emigrating. If you have additional information of the families or farms, I would love to hear
