EMIGRANT FAMILIES

There were many families that had several emigrants, often in two or three generations. Not many emigrated together. The father might have left first, with wife and children following a few years later.

More often it was several siblings emigrating and not always to the same state. Some had lots of contact with their siblings in the new country but sometimes contact was lost completely and it is only now people are finding second cousins in the US they had not known anything about.

This page has links to a few family pages, with family charts and some ancestors. There might also be pictures or other information of the farm they lived in. This is an ongoing project and only a few family pages exist, I am hoping to add more in the future.
